Christi Holden and Troy Kernick braved the 8 hour journey as well as the Joburg traffic(!) and towed their horses up to Kyalami for the Medium and Open Festival on 27th and 28th Feb 2010.
Finfloors In Depth (Inde), Awesome Chase (Chase) and Capital Ferdinand (Ferdi) flew the flag for Foresyte and had the following results:
Christi and In Depth: 8th out of 56 in the 1.30m Speed Competition.
Christi and Awesome Chase: 16th out of 72 in the 1.10 Speed Competition.
Troy and Capital Ferdinand: 16th out of 97 in the 1.10 Welcome and 7th out of 80 in the 1.10 Championship. |

Hi Grant, Hi Carla!
Herewith a picture you might enjoy from this last weekend's dressage show in Austria. Steffi and Foresyte Penny took part in an Elementary class of 12 competitors and won with 74%, the resulting prize-giving ceremony was so amusing, we had to take a photo! The anouncer said "Ladies and gentleman, this is your winning pair, the smallest horse with the biggest heart!" You should have seen the lap of honour, everyone thought it was just too cute!!

Emma Brown on Landrovers Experience Freedom Fire 6th and 2nd in the 1m classes
Lucy Pittout 5th on Ricky in the 1m class
Candice Webber on Achtung Baby 1st in the 1,10m and 5th in the 1,30m class on Time is on My Side
Grant on Preamble D 2nd and 3rd in the 1,30m classes and Sissi van de Helle 2nd in the 1,30m competition.
Lynette Webber 1st in both 70cm classes on Prince of Time
Foresyte Constantine 3rd in the 70cm welcome stakes
Reine Marshall 2nd and 1st in the CE Classes
Clodagh Shaws Midguard Singular Dancer 3rd in the 1m class ridden by Grant Langley

Easter Show - Gauteng
Grant and the Foresyte riders had great success at the Easter Show in Gauteng – with Grant on Sissi winning the 1.30 Victor Ludorum and other riders achieving excellent results.
